Tire inside release agents, also known as Band Ply Lubricants (BPL) or Tire Inside Paints, are essential for the quality and performance of tires. These solutions directly influence various parameters, such as behavior in the press, venting and shifting on the inner liner, the lifespan of the bladder, demolding from the press, and the surface quality after vulcanization. This includes a uniform finish, gloss level, color, and visibility of defects.
Application is done through spraying or spin-disk methods, with attention to a uniform film using a lesser quantity than other products. The sprayed and dried film must be visible to the operator to allow for inspection before being placed in the press.
After vulcanization, the products display a homogeneous, spot-free finish with good visibility of markings and labels. Silicone-free tire inner spray solutions facilitate the subsequent bonding of functional layers (self-sealing, noise reduction).
There are various concepts for tire inner spray solutions; all our products are water-based. Depending on the type of manufacturing and tire requirements, the appropriate product must be chosen:

PROMOL® TI 1311 is a ready-to-use water-based, solvent-free, tire inside release agent containing silicone. The aqueous dispersion provides very good release and slip between the bladder and the unvulcanized tire. PROMOL® TI 1311 is usually applied to the green tire using automated or a hand-held spray guns.

PROMOL® TI 1311BK is a ready-to-use water-based tire inside release agent containing silicone and carbon black. The aqueous dispersion provides very good release and slip between the bladder and the unvulcanized tire. PROMOL® TI 1311BK is usually applied to the green tire using automated or hand-held spray guns.
silicone-containing, low filler content
PROMOL® 1300 SL is ready-to-use, water-based tire inside paint, for application to the inside of green tires. The film supports demolding and offers good venting and sliding behavior at the same time.
silicone-free
PROMOL® TI 1404BK is a single-release, water based, medium filled, silicone-free inside tire release agent.It is a grey-black aquaeous dispersion used in the tire industry to provide release and lubricity between the bladder and the unvulcanized tire („green tire“). It is applied before vulcanization onto the inside of the green tire, ideally by spraying.
Two-wheel tires, including motorcycle and bicycle tires, due to their specific geometry and the resulting requirements, place particular demands on the tire inside release agents used. For these types of tires, it is crucial to minimize the content of fillers while simultaneously ensuring the fineness of these fillers is very high. These measures aim to reduce internal friction forces, thus facilitating the insertion and subsequent sliding of the inner tube within the tire.
